We are an integrated Information Science and Information Technology group that specializes in computing infrastructure and information services for DuPont technical, research and business communities. We use information and computing technologies in discovering, optimizing, and renewing products and processes. The capabilities of our High Performance Computing environment enable us to do high-end, compute/data/visually-intensive problems (e.g., bioinformatics, fluid dynamics, engineering, etc.).
Computer modeling and data visualization help us understand how our products interact with the environment. For example, we examine relationships between the physical properties of particular compounds and the structure of particular molecules and their biological properties. Our Business, Technical and Patent Intelligence and Competitive Intelligence group provides DuPont research and businesses with patent research, industry and market intelligence, technology assessments, business landscapes, language and cultural awareness, and intellectual property management.
We help protect Intellectual Property of DuPont. Some of the top science people in the world come to work with DuPont. We also collaborate with a large number of universities around the world.
