Photovoltaic Offerings Attract Thousands in Japan

DuPont recently participated in the International Photovoltaic Power Generation Expo (PV 2008) in Tokyo, Japan, showcasing the company's offerings and materials used in photovoltaics. PV 2008 is an international exhibition for different devices, materials, equipment and technologies related to photovoltaic power generation.
With more than 44,000 visitors in attendance, many showed strong interest in the DuPont products and technologies that were showcased and registered to receive further information.
"We provide 'One DuPont' photovoltaic solutions and offer the use of alternative energy through various products," said Haruhiko Nakaniwa, marketing manger, DuPont Photovoltaic Solutions, Japan.
DuPont Fluoroproducts, DuPont Electronic Technologies, DuPont Packaging & Industrial Polymers, DuPont Engineering Polymers, DuPont Chemical Solutions Enterprise, DuPont-Mitsui Polychemicals Co., Ltd., DuPont-Toray Co., Ltd. DuPont Performance Elastomers, and DuPont-Mitsui Fluorochemicals Co., Ltd., all participated in the exhibition. Featured DuPont products included: Teflon® Film, Tedlar®, Solamet®, Butacite®, SentryGlas®Plus, Rynite®, Zytel®HTN, Elvax®, Surlyn®, Kapton®, Kalrez®, Vertrel® and Zonyl®.
