Kevlar® Pulp to Drive Growth in Automotive Applications

DuPont Advanced Fiber Systems – High Performance Solutions (HPS) recently participated in the 10
th Friction and Sealing Material Technology Exchange & Products Exhibition in China.
The exhibition attracted more than 3,000 visitors, mostly from the manufacturing areas of China including Jilin, Shenyang and Changchun.
A pre-opening pulp sample of DuPont™ Kevlar® was displayed, and the standard wrapping of 5kg Kevlar® Pulp was shown to visitors. Kevlar® is used as a reinforcement ingredient in brake pads, auto and industrial gaskets, clutch linings, and automatic transmission paper.
Key customers were present to promote the brand. Visitors showed strong interest in Kevlar® Pulp, and some requested samples for manufacturing testing and quality enhancement.
