Five employees from the DuPont site in Circleville, Ohio, recently received a Circleville Safety Excellence Award. Each year, the Circleville Safety Networking Core Team, along with members of the plant staff, present the Safety Excellence Award to employees who are nominated for outstanding contributions and achievements in safety.
The recipients of the Circleville 2007 Safety Excellence Award are: David Milam, Thad Dilley, Chet Hewitt, Elaine Umsted and Tony Dye. All have been leaders in promoting and fostering safety and have been involved in many safety-related site programs.
Attending the award ceremonies were Tony Eichstadt, manager, Circleville, staff members and representatives of the Safety Networking Core Team. "We appreciate the safety leadership that these individuals bring to our work place. They exemplify the team behavior that we want to build across our plant," Tony said.
"We know how essential safety is at DuPont and feel it is one our most important core values. I believe receiving a safety award such as this should be considered one of the most celebrated types of recognition you can receive as a DuPont employee," said Roger Adams of the Safety Networking Core Team.
