DuPont Australia recently received registration approval from the Australian government for its new insecticides – DuPont™ Altacor®, Coragen® and Acelepryn™. Altacor® and Coragen® are powered by Rynaxypyr®, the new breakthrough chemistry from Crop Protection, and are sold to farmers for agricultural production. Acelepyrn™ is marketed by DuPont Professional Products for turf applications.
The Rynaxypyr® products are the first significant new products for DuPont Crop Protection in Australia since the launch of indoxacarb insecticide eight years ago.
DuPont Professional Products sold 75 percent of its 2008 Acelepryn™ allocation on the first day of registration.
"These registrations mark the beginning of a new horizon in pest control for our customers," said Graeme Iggo, business director, DuPont Crop Protection, Australia and New Zealand.
