DuPont Showcases Oil & Gas Offerings at Neftegaz in Russia

DuPont recently participated in Neftegaz 2008 -- the largest oil & gas exhibition in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States. Neftegaz 2008 is a major meeting platform for oil & gas professionals from the region.
Russia, one of the leading gas producers and second-highest oil producer in the world, is facing challenges with production issues due to the deep geographic location of oil resources. DuPont provides solutions to facilitate oil production, allowing the potential recovery of more oil.
Some of the DuPont offerings that were showcased at the exhibition included: glycolic acid, reinforced thermoplastic pipes, reagents for enhanced oil recovery, DuPont Clean TechnologiesTM, DuPont™ Isotherming™ Technology, Zonyl®, Tyzor® and StreaMax™.
"Neftegaz is a 'One DuPont' channel approach," said Andrey Glinskiy, business development manager for oil & gas, DuPont Eastern Europe. "As a result of our participation, five more refineries have shown interest in considering our offerings."
