New Biomax® Strong additive enhances the impact strength, flexibility and viscosity of polylactic acid (PLA), improving performance in packaging applications such as cast sheets and injection molding.
These scientifically tailored LLDPE resins help film manufacturers and blow molders get a more consistent extrudate melt strength, for better bottles, faster film throughput or easier downguaging.
DuPont offerings include Elvanol® PVOH for water-soluble coating and adhesives for paper, linerboard, and tube cores; and Elvax® EVA resins for use in wax blends and hot melt adhesives.
These additives, supplied in pellet form, are used as masterbatches by packaging film conversion to help adjust film handling and surface properties such as antifog.
This fractional-melt-index LDPE helps purge and clean extruders between jobs. It contains additives to help wet and scour metal surfaces, and a blowing agent to further enhance scouring.
