Q. I work in an industry that demands high levels of cleanliness and low levels of contamination. What protective apparel should I wear to meet these standards?
A. In addition to its low linting and contamination properties, Kevlar® Clean Technology offers excellent cut resistance and thermal protection, making it the perfect choice in electronics, painting, plastics and select food applications, where maintaining exceptional quality, cleanliness, accuracy and performance is critical. Its filament knit construction lends itself well to environments that must remain free of contaminants such as fuzz, dust and lint.

Q. Can I wash a glove made of 100% Kevlar®?
A. Gloves of Kevlar® can either be water-washed or dry cleaned many times without affecting the cut resistance or thermal properties.
Q. Where can I buy gloves of Kevlar®?
A. DuPont supplies Kevlar® brand fiber to other manufacturers who make gloves of Kevlar®. You can buy gloves of Kevlar® from industrial distributors - use our Where to Buy tool to find a company offering coverage in your area.

Q. How can gloves of Kevlar® save me money?
A. In an application with either cut or laceration hazards, gloves of Kevlar® can save money in two ways:
- The cost of the gloves — Even though gloves made with Kevlar® cost more per pair than cotton or leather gloves, their durability means that you will not have to replace them as frequently, resulting in an overall savings.

- Injury costs — Effective precautions with the appropriate safety gear for the task, like gloves of Kevlar®, can dramatically reduce injury costs.
